Lagos Police Command arrests 2 policemen for assault on LASTMA officials

The Lagos state police command yesterday 5th August, averted what would have been a major civil disturbance at Iyana-Oba bus stop through the timely intervention of the Area Commander in charge of the axis.

Trouble started when a Policeman from Ojo Division, who was said to be in pursuit of a suspected felon, in an attempt to demobilize the vehicle, fired at the tyre of the fleeing car. Unfortunately, the bullet brushed through the arm of a passerby, causing instant tension & anger among some onlookers.

Michael Schumacher& wife mark toughest 20th wedding anniversary

F1 legend Michael Schumacher and his Corinna, are marking their 20th wedding anniversary today August 6th...and it's the saddest one yet for the mother of two. The condition of the sporting legend is currently unknown following a horrific skiing accident in December 2013 that left him in a coma for six months. He's since gone to his family home to recover since leaving a hospital in the French Alps.

Corinna, also 46, is rarely seen in public these days. Happy anniversary to them.

Cara Delevingne has made it known that she’s jumping from fashion to film. The 22-year-old recently told WSJ Magazinethat she’s dreamed of being an actor since age 5, and with a bevy of movies slated to hit the silver screen this year, it seems that her fantasy has become a reality. “With acting, the last thing you do is try to look pretty,” the newly retired model told the publication. Sure, she’s currently looking glam on the cover of Vogue’s July issue, but that’s to promote her upcoming film, Paper Towns.

Paper Towns is the adaptation of the YA novel by John Green. The model-turned-actress plays a sensitive teenager by the name of Margo Roth Spiegelman, alongside Nat Wolff as Q. Not far from the Brit’s real-life persona, her character is tomboy casual. But it looks like Delevingne didn’t bring her laissez faire style to the film’s world tour. (Except for herpeculiar clown ensemble she wore in Berlin, which is to be expected of someone who favors pizza suits.)
